A marine survey is a detailed report to determine the vessel’s value, condition and seaworthiness based upon it’s current hull and systems. There are different type of surveys: pre-purchase, insurance or finance, damage and claims, and appraisals. A survey is helpful when selling or buying vessels. It is a helpful document when setting prices and showing that the boat passes inspection and is safe on and off the water. Some financial institutions or insurance agencies will require a marine survey.

The process of surveying a boat may take a few hour to go into depth of thoroughly inspecting the current condition of he boat and if the systems are functioning as designed. Once the in-person inspection is over, you will receive it in a timely manner.
